  1. I will never forget seeing Ep 2 in theaters and hearing some other kid my age all excited because we were going to see Padme’s stomach

  2. More like when anakin’s head went through a cgi door

  3. Can someone explain the dagger?

  4. Padmes outfit disappeared because of the beast she fought, it is corny and unnecessary but it’s not a plot hole

  5. You. Can. See. The. Shirt. Rip. If. You. Watch. Carefully.

It gets torn by the cat beast when he scratches her back, and you can briefly see the pieces flutter down in the next shot.

We’ve been over this like a million times.

That dagger is still one of the worst pieces of editing of all time in a movie with that range of budget.

  6. Let’s not forget that a Stormtrooper hit his head.

  7. How does one thing and another affect the scene?

The disaapearing dagger avoids the killing of a character, and there’s no cut between scenes that could “explain” that he lost it or something, is something with a huge impact on the plot.

How affects the change of outfit to the plot exaclty? Why should I care?

  8. No no, I assure you, we very much saw that.

Slave leia and jabba the hut rule 34 exists.. and it makes what furries draw look tame. GOOD MORNING INTERNET!!!

  10. I want her entire outfit to disappear

  11. Seeing the shot of padme getting scratched, i can see a good deal of fabric get torn off by the claw. There is a clear and present explanation as to why the outfit becomes a crop top, even if it may be a stretch of hiw it works logistically
But ultimately it does nothing to affect the plot.

Meanwhile that dagger dissapearing drastically affects the plot, and there is no clear or present explanation as to why it dissapears, the filmmakers just kinda forgot… and hoped no-one noticed that the edited it out in post. If it didn’t suddenly disintegrate into nothingness, that dagger would’ve plunged right into Reys back and majorly wounded her, if not killed her. The throne room fight is an absolute travesty in every regard.

The sequels suck, deal with it.

  12. People HEATED in the comments. Cant believe we live in a timeline where people who grew up dealing with prequel hate shit on the sequels way worse. The darkest timeline.

  13. Bruh its explained and working good thisnpost is nothing but a missunderstanding

  14. The missing dagger thing is pretty normal in a lot of movies, since action scenes have so many moving parts and are kinda hard to film. In ROTJ you can see Luke fake-kicking one of Jabba’s goons.

  15. Are you dumb.

    Don’t answer that, you’re dumb.

  16. The whole dagger disappearing bit flew past me until someone pointed it out. Now that’s all I focus on in every rewatch. Kind of like the Luke “force kick” or the Palpatine using Anakin’s saber hilt in eps 3. It’s an editing error and I love finding them in movies! Especially my favorite movies. It’s almost like an Easter egg in a way for me to chuckle about

Now what’s this about Padme’s outfit disappearing? That doesn’t make sense lol

  17. I actually pointed it out to my friends while we were watching episode 2 together. I recall saying “George Lucas, you naughty boy”
