  1. The only countries willing to stomach Russia’s actions do so out of fear of losing things they need. Let’s be clear – no one outside of Russia actually supports the move if there was no consequences to opposing. Just a few countries like Belarus have a Russian gun to their head. When the world hates you – you are doing something wrong. Vlad the terrible. Worst world leader in over 100 years bar none. Makes Kim Jong look like a decent kid.

  2. Nobody respects a loser, a coward, a weakling.

    It doesn’t really matter what your nation’s geopolitical interests dictate, valiant underdogs are universally admired.

    It’s why much of the western world, and even many Americans, supported the Vietnamese right to resist the occupiers.

  3. When you feel the need to force citizens to fight for your cause because none of them are willingly volunteering to defend it, you’ve already lost.
