  1. >”Compared to The Twilight Zone, the new series is said to be set in our world while putting a tweak on it, bending reality and focusing on people and exploring the human condition in an unexpected, surprising way. Thought-provoking but not a morality tale, the series also is expected to carry the signature Gilligan tone that infuses drama with humor.”

    Really excited for this

  2. >*As Deadline reported exclusively last month, there was a lot of anticipation for Gilligan’s pitch, with at least 8-9 networks and platforms lined up to hear it and read his script. There were multiple rounds of bidding for the project, which I hear was seeking a series order and a budget in the vicinity of $13.5M-$15M an episode*

    omg let’s gooooo

  3. From the article:

“After fifteen years, I figured it was time to take a break from writing antiheroes… and who’s more heroic than the brilliant Rhea Seehorn? It’s long past time she had her own show, and I feel lucky to get to work on it with her,” said Gilligan.

  4. Awesome! I was hoping Vince wouel stick with as much of the BB/BCS cast and crew as possible. Rhea is amazing and 100% deserves a lead role in whatever Vince is up to.

  5. You know how you always want to know that the people you enjoy watching on tv are genuinely as great as you hope they are — it really feels like Rhea Seehorn lives up to that hope. It seems like everyone who worked with her on BCS is just obsessed with her. Vince giving her a show. Bob wants her for his show too and to write a book with her. Peter has also said he wants to work with her again. Fuck the Emmy’s! Rhea doesn’t need them!

  6. Is this xfiles-ish with the best of the best in the acting business and writing/directing???

    I needed this news.

  7. ‘Vince Gilligan’s next series’

I’m sold. I’m sold X10 and very excited

    ‘starring Rhea Seehorn’

I’ve never been so sold on anything in my life before

  8. When you see Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn’s names you pick it up for two seasons immediately no questions asked. Hell yeah

  9. Man, this f’ing awesome. It’s kind of…surreal?

Edit: I recall Gilligan saying something along the lines of not wanting to be a one-trick pony, which isn’t right, but that was his feelings. I mention this because that gives me the idea that he’s going to put a lot of effort into making this new show great. He’s out to prove he can do something outside of the Breaking Bad world.

    Man, I can’t wait.

  10. Very excited for Vince and Rhea. The focus on someone more “heroic” as described by Vince sounds interesting and will probably be a good change of pace from Walt and Saul.

I really hope Peter Gould has the opportunity to do a passion project for what he did with Better Call Saul.

  11. Amazing. I wish she found bigger success when she was in her 30’s because she deserved it. 50 is the new 30 anyway these days.
