  1. It took from 2004 to 2020 for 5 million (as reported by Falcom in 2020), but just within 2020 to 2022 that went up to 7 million. Kinda insane.

  2. I wonder how much percent of this sales comes from the West. I doubt they could manage to hit that number with only Japan audience.

  3. These are great numbers. Though you have to remember that the “Trails” series has **15** games (Not counting all the remakes/remasters/ports), and have been out since 2004. But still, even then 7Mil is good.

Makes you wonder why they aren’t that interested in bringing more of their games to the west. At least NISA is finally bringing Trails of Zero next week, though from what I heard, a group of the fandom are already planning to boycott it. Then again, gaming boycotts never work (at least not one that I heard of), so who knows.

**Edit**: For those wondering about the 15, I counted the new game when I said 15 because I saw that Famitsu already had the review scores. So I assumed the game was out. Still even if it’s not out, you have to figure that per-purchases of the game are counted. Also remember that this 7Mil is for the entire Trails series, and not just the main titles of the series, meaning spin-offs and mobile games are probably counted.

  4. Hopefully they expand their audience by porting to xbox eventually too. I have their games on PC and Switch but I would love to play on my xbox instead. New audience for them and all too

  5. Still stuck at the end of SC and have the third chapter in my steam already, I probably should pick this up again.

  6. Ys series was reported to have sold 4.8 million back in July 2017, I wonder where it is now in comparison to Trails.
