  1. “I met with them. I actually thought they wanted to settle but I didn’t want to settle because how can you even if I paid a very small amount, you’re sort of admitting guilt,”

So the money to Stormy… or the underaged girls who sued/settled outside of court…

  2. On Wednesday, when New York Attorney General Letitia James announced her $250m civil lawsuit against former president Donald Trump, she specifically cited former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s testimony in 2019 where he revealed that the former president fraudulently inflated the value of his assets.“I
will remind everyone that this investigation only started after Michael
Cohen, the former lawyer, his former lawyer testified before Congress
shed light on this misconduct,” she said. The question that triggered Mr Cohen’s response came in 2019 from Ms James’s fellow New Yorker, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“Yes, and you’d find it at the Trump Org,” Mr Cohen said.

The lawsuit alleges that Mr Trump fraudulently inflated his net worth by
millions of dollars so that banks could lend him and his businesses
money on more favourable terms that would otherwise not be available.

“I met with them. I actually thought they wanted to
settle but I didn’t want to settle because how can you even if I paid a
very small amount, you’re sort of admitting guilt,” he said.

  3. AOC constituent here. I remember this line of questioning very well. She is not just a smart and savvy and meticulous congresswoman she is a real New Yorker. We all grew up hating Trump ’cause as NYers we see the best and worst of all humanity every single day and can easily sum up a persons character in a matter of seconds. This is why we think the rest of America is so effing stupid for its apparently obvious to us all what a slime ball, low class douche bag Trump really is. I came to that conclusion myself at age 13. MAGAs are a dumb breed running old cerebral software. To hell with them all.

  4. I forgot it was her, but I remembered what Cohen said. I have been waiting and wondering why no action happened, and now it has.

  5. I remember cheering when she went into this line of questioning. Amidst all the usual politicking and carefully ambiguous questions, she attacked like a prosecutor to get Cohen to divulge what the AG needed. Anyone paying attention knew that she was making the most of the limited time she had available.
