  1. As a pharmacist, I’m not surprised. Multiple GLP-1 agonist drugs are approved for weight loss.

On the other hand, why aren’t they just taking the oral version. Probably because the article couldn’t put the scary injection image on the banner if that were the case.

  2. T2 diabetic here. I’m taking that med. It helps you to lose weight because you are so damn sick from it, you can barely eat a blueberry. My nausea lasted for a couple of months. Eventually, your body becomes conditioned to it, and the nausea lightens up, but if you overeat….right back to nausea.

  3. Just another instance of people who don’t understand enough about medical science using a drug for something that happens to work for some people in certain circumstances.

  4. As someone who uses ozempic for my type two diabetes, this infuriates me. I really hope this doesn’t lead to ozempic shortages for people who actually need it.

EDIT: I DID NOT MEAN OBESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT USE OZEMPIC. I myself was obese when I started using Ozempic. It helped me lose 40 pounds and take my A1C from 10.3 to 5.8. If you have genuine health issues and Ozempic will help you, then by all means use it! I meant it infuriates me that famous people will use Ozempic to lose weight they don’t have to lose just to fit into some absurd beauty standard set by Hollywood.

  5. Oh yeah, there is apparently a shortage in Australia because people are buying this to lose weight, basically causing diabetics to miss out. It’s proper fucked!

  6. It’s funny that this is being brought to light

I’ve heard about an injection Pornstars take and they dramatically lose weight i dont know if it’s some type of birth control but that shit is real
Khloe K definitely used that shit
