Gordon Ramsay throwing shade on people streaming his shows on Twitch
ehehe fuck it mate Gx
Gordo’s publicist is probably just having a laugh, but Fox might not be soon. I mean neither outcome-doing nothing or striking the shit out of everyone-would be surprising given the social media interactions now.
this isnt throwing shade, this is just a simple reference
Gx in the chat
Are people streaming the new show on Twitch too? That seems like an invitation for FOX lawyers to come knocking.
Gordon does not make these tweets. It is his publicist.
Changed his bio too lmao >Always near food….doesn’t know what Twitch is
Yeah it doesn’t matter if that’s Gordon or his publicist they won’t care.
FOX however is what you should be worried about, and they can shut people down fast
This feels like the first step to the DMCA apocalypse or whatever you wanna call it.
Whoever’s running the account probably doesn’t give much of a fuck, Gordo himself probably even less, but it just takes that one particular person to hear that this is actually going on and things could escalate really fast.
Until the combination of Ludwig leaving plus the react streams I didn’t know that people could have tribalism towards a fucking streaming site.
But people really love twitch that much I guess
oh no no action is coming PepeLaugh
The lawsuit is creeping
no one watches his newest shows on twitch, we all binge ancient episodes… well at least as far as the channels i come across.
Only felt like yesterday gaymers were going on rants about how Twitch was for video games and we hated women in hot tubes. Fun times.
Lol it’s not shade. It was a joke from the show. One of the chefs steams her stuff on twitch and he didn’t know what it was.
what a lot of people are misunderstanding is that the rights holders don’t care about “free advertising,” they care about making money. they get $0 from you watching xQc. luckily for a lot of streamers it seems like the owners of a lot of Gordo’s shows don’t care (yet) if the episodes are uploaded somewhere else. maybe a big streamer will even get an opportunity to talk to Gordo and watch a preview of his new show on stream.
however, streaming shit like Naruto & LOTR is gonna end up with those streamers getting fucked
do the arm thing dud
profile: “Always around food, doesn’t know what Twitch is”
if jumping to conclusions was Olympic sport we would have many gold medalists in this sub
I think somehow this all comes back to Hasan not picking Tricia on love or host #ThanksHasan
i miss the days of justin.tv where i could stream the tour de france or any sporting match for free with the quality of a broken tv from the 90s.
technically it is piracy that streamers stream full episodes to millions for free, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see something like this escalating into something more.
I’m actually wondering when youtube will decide streamers can’t watch or use their videos unless they’re streaming on youtube…
mentioning twitch = throwing shade LULE
In the episode there is a twitch streamer competing. His bio is also changed to doesn’t know what twitch (he asked her in the first episode “what the fuck is twitch”). I’m pretty sure this is just in reference to the show.
Free advertisement for twitch no shade thrown.
not my streamer xqcL
Shade or using it as an opportunity to advertise his show :P?
I wouldn’t be shocked if Gordo has mentioned this to his people who are now talking to fox and DCMAGEDDON is coming……”but it builds hype for the show” sorry 30k people watching some streamer make money off it while the network/hulu/whatever loses money is not what these people care about. Big companies have a massive hardon for every dollar they think they aren’t making. 30k people watching for free? that’s 10k hulu subscriptions unsold. They don’t care about the ‘hype’. You guys live in a bubble and think 30k people means something. Nukes a comin’.
Did anyone else notice his Twitter bio? 🙂
Good. I hope a reckoning is coming on these streamers.
I don’t think it’s shade, more or less disappointment. Imagine working hard on a show and a lot of the traffic going through it is through another platform from a streamer that is bringing no type of revenue to help keep the show going smoothly.
Basically if you really want to support the show, watch it on a platform that is streaming it like Hulu or Fox.
This isnt shade u idiots lol
pretty sure any streamer would take exception to someone rebroadcasting their content without paying a cent’s worth of royalties. not sure how this would be perceived differently for him… despite not even throwing shade in that comment
