1. I got a suspicion I’m going to get massacred in the comments just like last time I posted a pic of some charity stuff. Please forgive me reddit, I’m not so good with understanding what is good photo social conventions around here.

We’re trying to raise money to bring in critical food and medical aid into the country right now, and we would really love your support for our efforts.

Russia recently bombed out [the largest food warehouse in Europe, located just outside of Kyiv, and destroyed 50,000 tons of food](https://www.euronews.com/green/2022/03/30/video-shows-europe-s-largest-food-warehouse-on-fire-after-deliberate-russian-attack). This is going to create a food crisis in the coming days in Ukraine, so I’m desperately trying to raise money for this. Our fundraiser and project are linked in my bio.

To give a background, my co-founder and I found ourselves stuck in Kyiv when the invasion started, and we decided to stick around to see how we can help instead of just leaving the country. We’re not an NGO (though we’re starting one to ease some of the difficulty of doing business), and we’re not doing this chase clout. We don’t have public social media accounts.

Our objective is to help the people affected by the war here, and we would really appreciate any and all help in our efforts.

Our fundraiser and project are linked in my bio.

  2. Mad respect for you guys

  3. Wow. Very nice. Thank you.

  4. Thank you for doing this. Any bit helps them. People like you are actively DOING something. Those who tell you you’re wrong or whatever are just sitting at home and complaining over the internet. What you’re doing matters and we all support the hell out of you. THANK YOU.

Hey it’s the person everyone was shit talking last time for doing something charitable.

    Get her!

  6. The protein bars probably cost as much as one of the ambulances.

  7. Thank you very much!

  8. Be careful with the protein bars and don’t let people eat too many of them in one sitting. They’re pretty high in fiber, and folks’ll shit themselves if they aren’t careful. I went through this in recruit training in the early 2000s. It isn’t fun.

  9. Just wanted to say y’all are awesome and thank you

  11. to understand the importance of ambulances, it allows you to move the severely wounded out of hospitals into the west of Ukraine.

  12. Thank you, guys!

  13. Thank you so so much ❤️

  14. Thank you! 💙💛

  15. I really hope Ukraine win this thing. The world needs a win for once.

  16. Great news! thank you!

  17. A point of contact told us they’re accepting slightly expired supplies. My company throws away a few garbage cans full of expired supplies every fortnite. Talk to your boss about sending expired supplies to Ukraine

  18. God bless you you’re awesome

  19. This is awesome. 🙏 Good stuff! Respect

  20. That’s great

  23. Shit, it just occurred to me that if Ukraine can put anti-tank bombs and cameras on quadcopters, they could also put a ton of protein bars on them. Instead of bombing tanks with explosives, they could bomb Mariupal with protein bars. It could even be autonomous, with a GPS location based trigger; simple Pi program: fly to a coord, drop load, fly home. Rinse and repeat. Bars would survive the drop.

You can’t survive on protein bars, but it would extend rations a hell of a lot, and if it became a worry, drop some loads of full-spectrum vitamins.

Water’s a bigger issue, but UAVs could really help with the food issue. Hmm. Would those [water-gelatin balls](https://sadiqgelatin.com/how-to-make-edible-gelatin-bubbles/) survive a drop?

How much do those ambulances cost? Or are the US ambulances that cost $1 million standard?

  26. Thank you! 🙏

  27. Солідарність з Україною = Solidarity with Ukraine!

  28. Good timing. We were just running low on protein bars.
