I think we even hold the record for most no of days spent in 1st place.
JT and Cahill being rocks at CB. Dave displacing a world class LB in Luis. Ivanovic playing like a second striker. Hazard being Hazard. Matic locking it down and Costa scoring for fun. It was a great season.
It was a very good team, but the poor manner in which they exited the CL, the style of play in the second half and the spectacular flame out the next season means they won’t be remembered outside of the Chelsea fan base like other winners.
Wire to wire is a great accomplishment, but they’re probably the least memorable of all the modern Chelsea teams to win. Champagne problem, of course, but even among great Chelsea teams they don’t stand out above the rest.
and Hazard.
I managed to catch three games that year while on my honeymoon. That season is certainly not underrated in my household.

First half off that season was some off the best football I’ve seen at Chelsea, we fell off abit 2nd half but still was a class season
