What is worse, OP using this comic or me recognizing where it is from?
Iirc isn’t there a mechanic by which magical weapons and wearable items change their size to fit whoever would wear them?
We don’t talk about source! BUT! It was my off day!
You should give the source and credit the artist.
…I’m reminded of the tale of woe. A DM that refused to tweak CoS a bit for the party.
Mostly the fact that when they found a special weapon, they adamantly refused to fluff it so the party could use it. Without giving up half the build they’d been working towards the entire campaign, that is.
Because why **wouldn’t** a halberd user with the Polearm Master feat give up everything they’d been doing up until then because they found a magical Short/longsword?
[I suppose it would depend upon whether the blade of a god was *unwilling* to adjust its size, as it seems unlikely that it is *unable* to.](https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dmg/treasure)
> In most cases, a magic item that’s meant to be worn can fit a creature regardless of size or build. Many magic garments are made to be easily adjustable, or they magically adjust themselves to the wearer.
> Rare exceptions exist. If the story suggests a good reason for an item to fit only creatures of a certain size or shape, you can rule that it doesn’t adjust. For example, armor made by the drow might fit elves only. Dwarves might make items usable only by dwarf-sized and dwarf-shaped characters.
Don’t magic items shrink down to the wearer?
WE DONT TALK ABOUT THE SOOOOOURCE
but
Wholesome porn comic 🙂
Ah yes, putting that Dark Souls energy into D&D, what can go wrong!
I thought magic equipment grew or shrank to fit the wielder.
Why hello there fellow furry
I’m a simple man. I see Zummeng art used to make DND memes, I upvote
Source? Pwease?🥺

Can we please stop using fucking furry porn as meme templates?
Something something
Berserk reference
Something something
That’s why I rule all magic items magically change their proportions to match the size of their wielder
Too late op, people have found out
The title and source got me
Shortshwords are the worst pick for Halflings. They have short reach and you want a short weapon to go with that? Get a spear, or a pike, or a Goedendag or ditch melee at all.
Happens to me all the time in Elden ring. I like to wield greatswords, and every now and then I’ll get a really cool one but it will have some high faith or intelligence requirement. That’s when I just start doing co-op to safely level up lol.
It was too big to be called a sword…
I thought this was from a porn subreddit for a moment
I suppose it’s not magical then since it didn’t re-scaling when use
