My kitty lived to be 22. I would have done this for her too.
It’s interesting that it’s hard to tell old cats and dogs from slightly younger ones while for humans, we can tell a 13 year old from a 15 year old.
My kitty isn’t 23, but I have steps for her everywhere so she can be where she wants when she wants. She has never liked to jump whilst I’ve been her human, and taking the stress of jumping away from her has improved her life physically and mentally.

He bought stairs. You can get those exact stairs on Amazon. It’d be basically cruel to not get your elderly pet stairs. But I guess it doesn’t hurt to give this guy a cookie.

Adorable and I could be wrong, but I call BS on OP. This seems to be a video of a younger cat (def does not appear to have the standard fur and other signs of 20+ age in a feline) with Wobblers Syndrome.
Either way, this cat dad did a beautiful thing and I hope them many happy years together
