  1. That’s the bid/ask spread. It means nobody was offering for under $448,950, but it doesn’t mean anybody was buying.

This is why you never place a market buy order.

  2. There’s some hair on your screen. I know because I tried to blow it off of my screen.

  3. The ASK price was 448000, no shares were filled at that price

Just means the order book was empty

Seeing posts of 500$ calls being in the money

    edit: hedgz are fuk’d

  5. Good thing it didn’t take my shares for $448,950 each I would have been pissed…

  6. Dude. That’s the bid/ask spread, not what it sold for. But there are reports of 510 calls going in the money briefly.

Lol conveniently ignoring the $0.02 bid right next to it

  8. That’s not what that means you god damn potato

  9. For a very brief period I think I was a multi millionaire. But not long enough to kick the wife’s bf out. Almost though.

Edit. Last March when GME went nuts a bunch of random smaller caps went parabolic within days. Most were NOT in the “meme basket” or PCO’d by RH. I wonder if we see similar chaos this time around.

  10. That’s not what that means….🤦‍♂️

  11. Lol the ask is not the price.

    for one share

  13. Youre wrong its the ask… I can ask for 10 trillion per share, doesnt mean it will get filled.

  14. u belong here LOL

  15. Uh.. ask size isn’t a price it actually reached.

Man I love the retards here.

  16. No, but there are many reports or $500 calls going in the money right before halt.

  17. Didn’t Meltdown sub promise to nuke itself if it went over $483 ever again?

  18. OP you belong among these morons. The fact this gets so many upvotes 😂

The bid is literally right next to it at $0.02

Fuck it I’m jumping back in

  20. The ask doesn’t mean it reached the actual price. Over a year into this and people still point out dumb shit like this.

  22. The ask was $448k… doesn’t mean it was filled.. /facepalm

  23. Not entirely accurate. What the market makers were doing is called a LULD halt. (Limit Up Limit Down). When the bid/ask spread is more than 5%, it automatically triggers the LULD halt. When that happens, retail and lit exchanges are cut off.

    But guess what?

Those dirty market makers **continue trading behind the scenes**. That’s why when trading resumed, it went from 160, gapped to 182, then down to 156. They fucked all the momentum and pushed all those options out of the money.

    Disgusting.

#That spread is still not as wide as OP’s butthole

lmfao it didn’t _reach_ that price, it’s the ask. Imagine thinking the ASK is the price of the stonk
