R5: There are many ways to “solve” a border conflict
This system provides no resources or strategic value, but I’ll be damned if I let any other xenos have it
I FUCKING LOVE WAR
I WANT TO DESTROY PEOPLES AND CULTURES, RUIN ENTIRE PLANETS AND DIE IN A MEANINGLESS CONFLICT OVER A SINGLE ROCK WITHOUT ANY VALUE.
What about the materialist and egalitarians? How would they interact?
Anything for a chokepoint.
Border friction 1000% percent
Xphiles: “Let’s boink!”
Pacifists: “For peace!”
xenophile and pacifist would actually take as much territory as they could to fuck each other and then have a very pasive agresive conversation
Determined Exterminators : Yes. Come here, disgusting biological blob of flesh.
We have uses for you.
*Tosses into the chemical processor vat*
I finished a play through playing as a pacifist police state.
My god, I missed declaring war just because *you looked at me funny*
All im saying is *cracks planet* GIVE WAR A CHANCE !
Sometimes I read comments without checking which subreddit I’m in and somehow, you guys always scare me and then I look at r/Stellaris and I’m like “oh now it makes sense!”
Now imagine Devouring Swarm and Determined Exterminators
Lmao bottom picture is the only way I play stellaris
This is like the time I straight up stole a system from my friend (in multiplayer, she borders me) that happened to contain a world her species preferred. She was miffed about it but shortly after I sent a migration treaty so I could settle the world. She accepted, apparently not remembering that I just stole a prospective world from her.
Cue said friend some time later, seeing that I colonized that planet with her own species and thus going >:O
Countryball Stellaris style. I love itđ
I like this.
This is perfect
Y’all take more systems?
– *pacifist void dweller player*
I love Ethicsballs
I can hear the silence between the xenophobe and the militarist
I could probably go for some drinks with you tonight, if that’s OK with you?
“I’m going to murder you”
“I’m going to make you wish I’d just murder you”
The xenos will not respect the treaty, and we are better off fighting them.
Doing a militaristic xenophile playthrough now, my admirals and generals are unstoppable, accept that one general who only had one army on Sol 3
I don’t get it. Why is the last panel dark with a red giant and no text?
Nice artwork, BTW did you get the conversation for spiritualist/auth from the dune movie, the herald of the change scene?
Me claiming systems because it’s the last one in a cluster to make the perfect choke point
The Dark Forest Theory
Meanwhile fanatic materialist: haha! Colossus goes crack!
Every time someone colonize one of my claims, I stop everything send all my fleet and start playing this as I glass/shatter a planet
https://youtu.be/h67JpMyrOVE
Militarist Xenophobes: “Commence primary ignition.”
<< What have Borders ever given us? >>
I am scared.
xenophobe: two fight the third wins!
Virus bombing initiated, letâs show this xeno home world the true might of [Empire/species name here]!
A stellaris countryball comic? I love it
“Please take it”
Oh okay sure i’ll take it
“… You dare let our borders touch?!”
Stellaris factions be like:
I donât get the last one for some reason.
The devouring swarm just looks and eats you
Now a fourth panel with one ball a machine intelligence and the other a minmaxer, both saying “haha numbers go up”
