  1. Jerry doesn’t seem to care too much for that one

  2. Kinda off-topic but the finale was my foray into the show. It (and the preceding clip-episode) were the only Seinfeld episodes I watched on their first airing. Half the reason why I got into it then was the media buzz and cultural sensation around it: like the entire country sort of “came together” to watch the finale. The other half of why I got into it was obviously the content of the show itself. Then I compulsively recorded syndicated episodes using VHS out of fear the show would soon be taken off the air – pretty comical to think about that nowadays.

  3. What a gorgeous, hilarious, and classy woman. She’s perfect

  4. That was golden

  5. She is so stunning

  6. I don’t understand the finale hate. I loved it honestly

  7. Even as a huge fan of Seinfeld, I have to agree with Julia. The finale wasn’t nearly as funny or memorable as it could have been. It was still a pretty solid episode but just relatively mediocre.

  8. I’m not really sure how you could have a proper finale for a show about nothing. There is no finale, it just ends

  9. This one is the best.

    Jaw dropper.

  11. Just curious, was the finale met with disappointment when it aired? I’ve just gotten into Seinfeld the last couple years, and thought the finale was great.

  12. Seinfeld is one of my favorite shows of all time. The finale seems only okay, because literally every episode is so damn memorable. The finale simply pales in comparison to the rest of the episodes. That’s all.

But, yeah, I’m tired of this joke.

Larry David has had a lot of wins. He’s allowed to miss a few.

  13. The finale is a success solely because of how memorable it is. People either love it or hate it. Personally, I hate it. But I think it accomplished its job quite well.

  14. Who slapped Chris rock in this one

  15. Now I don’t know if you guys are history buffs, but…

  16. Seinfeld looked like he was about to slap her

  17. I don`t get it! have just just watched all of Seinfeld for the first time and really enjoyed the finale, lovedd Jerry prision stand-up!

  18. “That’s the gal that sidelined Jerry. Jerry doesn’t like that.”

  19. Love the joke but I guess I’m in the minority who really likes the finale, both episodes. It’s just perfect for the group, really shows how shitty they are when it’s all played out back to back. Callbacks to your favorite characters, it’s actually one of my favorite episodes

  20. Blew my mind when I found out JLD is basically a billionaire…..

  21. The finale was good, don’t get it

  22. Crazy seeing Jim Carrey next to Jerry Seinfeld, two of my most favourite comedians. However I think their styles couldn’t be further from each other.

Ive always wondered how Jim would have played Kramer given the chance though. In an alternate universe where they snagged him instead of In Living Color.

I think he’s one of the only other people in the world who could have played Kramer and done it justice compared to Richards.

  23. Jerry shoulda slapped her tbh

  24. To be fair, the finale blows.

  25. So nice to see Chris Rock back them. Things have changed so much for him…

  26. Am I the only one who refuses to watch the finale because how much people shit on it?

  27. shoulda will smith’d her ass for that one
